Holiday

This week has been a break from the usual routine. I’ve had a weeks holiday! Didn’t go away anywhere but just had a week catching up with friends and family. It’s been a lovely week, lots of laughs and happiness. No fighting through security, no queuing. No ships and planes just pure having a relaxing time.

Holidays sometimes need to have this getting off the merry go round feel to recharge the mental batteries. Life and it’s direction become clearer during these moments. Clarity and purpose are strengthened and a spiritual renewal lights our soul.

Hanging on to this feeling of freshness and taking it with us to our routine lives. This is the task. Facing those hundreds of emails Monday morning can I stay centred, will life return to the fatigued, frantic craziness of work life. The secret is to stay focused on the peace and light that the break gave me and the work will flow in a renewed dimension, full of fresh vigour to cope with life’s next chapter.
